Combi seals Z2K
The two component combination sealing elements KDS-DE-Z2K made of elastic seal and robust strain relief enable flexible cable routing of pre-assembled and non-pre-assembled cables with protection class IP66. The two-part sealing element, whose half shells can be easily opened and closed using a snap lock, guarantees easy-to-install and precisely fitting sheathing of the cables. For installation, the combination sealing elements are pressed from the inside out into the openings of the previously attached inlays of the KDS cable feedthrough systems. The special structure of the sealing elements enables compliance with the specified tensile forces for retention capacity and strain relief for non-armored cables and lines in version A of the standard DIN EN 62444:2014-05 (cable glands for electrical installations). Due to their enlarged sealing range, they currently cover cable diameters from 1 mm to 8.7 mm and thus simplify storage costs.
